Sally Doman
Oral Health Therapist and Myofunctional Therapist

Graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Sydney in 2020, Sally achieved High Distinctions throughout her studies and was honored with the Dean’s List of Excellence in Academic Performance in 2018. As a dedicated Oral Health Therapist (OHT), she combines her dental therapy and hygiene expertise to address the root causes of oral and airway issues in children.
Sally specialises in myofunctional therapy, a non-invasive approach that focuses on retraining the muscles of the mouth, tongue, and face to promote proper oral posture and function. This therapy is particularly effective in addressing narrow palates, which can restrict airway space and lead to issues such as mouth breathing, snoring and behavioural issues in children. By encouraging nasal breathing and proper tongue posture, myofunctional therapy supports healthy jaw development and overall well-being.
Beyond her clinical practice, Sally is committed to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and techniques in pediatric myofunctional therapy. She takes pride in helping children breathe better, sleep more soundly, and thrive in their daily activities, laying the foundation for a lifetime of wellness.
Besides practising, Sally enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as outdoor activities like hiking and gardening.
